Again with manners? Some may ask. In fact, this happened awhile ago and not saying anything is not very good, is it? We need people to be aware of this as well as bosses knowing what your employees may be doing.
You see, there's a slight problem with my phone, a new one mind you. Sometimes when unlocking it, the screen may blackout but the phone is still functioning. Say the phone was ringing and when trying to answer, it blacks out but the phone continues to ring. So I went to Samsung centre and ask them about this problem. Service here was very good indeed, he said that he's not too sure about it and advised me to go upstairs to Welfon, as there is a technician there that can possibly help. So I made my way there and seriously regretted it.
Upon reaching the counter there this young man who was engrossed with his phone looked up. Everything was fine at first so I explained to him the problem and he told me that it was most probably a software problem. Then it started. He couldn't keep his eyes off his phone, DESPITE the fact that there is a customer in front of him. So then I was not too sure what was I suppose to do. I mean come on! Think everyone has to be IT savvy or something huh? So he said in a not too nice but not that rude (YET) way that I should back my phone data up and bring it back where they can update it. I understood that, but I was still not satisfied with it. Like seriously? I just bought that phone at the most 2 weeks ago, I don't really get why I am having this problems. So I told him so, and expected maybe a simple explanation as to why there would be such a problem. And what did he give me? He uttered one simple word that can enrage anybody. He said "SO?". Now wouldn't that piss you off? Whether or not I am tech savvy, whether or not I bought the phone from your place, I don't think that this is the right way to treat anybody let alone a customer, even if I did not get my phone from you (THANK GOD for that, I seriously would not purchase anything from there ANYMORE). Is this the type of service that you can offer? If treating customers is such horror to you, then work ELSEWHERE! Somewhere where you can be rude for all you care. Oh wait! There ain't such place, is there now??
Luckily my phone was bought from 2 very nice young man who happened to be the total opposite of this S***. They were friendly and very nice, also very helpful and MOST DEFINITELY NOT RUDE. Everyone working in customer relations line should be that way, even if you just work in a tiny shop. I don't care how sucky your job is. But you get paid to do it so do it right.
