Thoughts were flying through my mind, many things that could have been spoken aloud, and finally, something happened that made me made it the topic of today.
So, I am no good cook, i'm rather a noob-ish one (LIKE SERIOUSLY ESPECIALLY AFTER READING THIS) that tries to pretend to know how.. (cues audience laughter and making fun) and so the noob-iest thing happened to me today. Finishing up the remainder of my dish (a very simple vege soup mind you, don't expect shark-fin or whatever fancy mancy things you have in mind) of pouring it into a small bowl, and then realizing that it wasn't big enough, took out the bigger bowl on a tray which I was holding with my left hand, poured the contents with my right, and splash! The hot water hit my skin and as the water was a 100 degree, my skin turned red on the spot. It hurt so badly. Funnily though, I didn't let go of the tray but rather endured the pain by whispering a cursed word..(cues laughter again, at stupidity) But, I know you are not supposed to wash with cold water, and yes, I didn't do that, but slathered my hand in toothpaste so my hand feels kinda minty right now.. anyone up for lamb chop with a side of mint sauce? okayokay, just joking, no I won't be chopping my hand off thankyouverymuch :P
*The Uneventful Ones being that the boring life I lead.. HAHA
