A few days ago, I was playing with colours, just as the title suggests. Though I don't literally play with colours, as I am not an artist, rather, I was playing with the colour pencils my very good friend here had. Actually, I was suppose to be studying but they were too tempting! As these colour pencils were strewn across the table, looking all brilliant and bright against the pale white table, it made me whip out my camera and I randomly snapped shots, many many shots with different angles, different positions and all sorts and as I looked back at these shots, I realized that they were rather lacking something. I knew that it has got to be something to do with the colour, it lacked luster, it lacked life and contrast that was supposedly to be there between the colour pencils and the white background.
Nevertheless, they proved to be good tools for practicing my amateur photography, indeed, as will be seen in later pictures the unprofessional photographs of just an ordinary person, me.

Much to my surprise, fiddling with iPhoto brought about a good deal of lessons learned and a large amount of satisfaction when I managed to play around discovering new things as I edited these pictures. After editing, I realized that these pictures finally gained the thing that I was looking for, more life, more colour, and generally more radiance.
Then here we have a little picture that is liked by my dear friend as she says that this picture reminds her of motivation and teamwork which I would just have to agree with her. People come in many shapes, sizes, and most definitely colours, and yet each one of us are not strange, we are not so different from each other, but yes we all have different personalities and we are all different 'colours' that we bring along with us wherever we may go, influencing others and inspiring others in many different ways.

Last but not least, I just had to include one picture in black and white. Though it may lack colour, I feel that it expresses itself well in this two toned effect. Pictures speaks a thousand words, even in black and white. The position of these pencils are a mix of horizontally and vertically positions just like life when there may be ups and downs, and though the picture lacks colour, I find it colourful as the contrasting effects of the colour pencils can be seen in black, white, grey and all the colours in between.
That's all from me for now, hope you enjoyed playing with colours just as I had!
